Merry Christmas Everyone!

Merry Christmas everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Our day consisted of a race to see who could open up there presents the fastest..which was very entertaining! What do you do?? We then headed to Sun Valley for a fun filled day of skiing and a little bit of crying(abbey) what do you do when your dad takes you to the top of Baldy?? Cry of course...But she did awesome. Brandon turned another year older..36 wow that seems old..Happy Birthday Honey! Hope you all had wonderful eventful Christmas's..Love you all, nik

Christmas Eve 2007

It's a family tradition to go bowling on Christmas eve..when it works out and we're in town- so this year was one of those years. I had to post the reindeer ears..I thought it was pretty lucky that we got the older ones( hunter & Braeden) to wear them..very funny!

This is minutes after they won....Go BYU!!! Last weekend we went back to Vegas for the big bowlgame..It was fun to be apart of it all. We were even able to fit in a little last minute Christmas shopping and go and see Phantom of the Opera- which I loved!

We went with some friends to the National finals rodeo..Never done it before but it was a lot
of fun. As you can see we had some late night snacks at Hooters..which Brandon won a Hooters calender- he was so happy. The Rodeo was great..I think it was the fastest rodeo I've been to in along time. Vegas is very pretty during Christmas..loved the decorations!

Ab's Christmas dance recital!

Abbey had her dance program last week so I thought I better get going and blog it..I'm getting a little behind this month-can you tell? She did a wonderful job and was so darn adorable..What can I say she is my only daughter. She had two dances and she totally danced her little heart out. It is always very entertaining to watch the dance recitals..most of our good friends have dancers in it so it makes it much more enjoyable to know someone in each of the dances..They all did a great job..Hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season!! All ready to dance.....

Gingerbread Houses...

This year we went over to Brian and Holly's house to make gingerbread houses..we also had our friends the Travellers over with there kids. I do have to say it does take some good handy work to keep the little buggers up..(ours didn't do to well). I guess I'm going to have to practice for next year..Thanks Holly and Brian for the fun experience....Braeden, Me, Hunter and Abbey trying our hardest to keep it up.

Christmas Tree Hunting.....

We had to have the 4-wheelers to find them..

Last Monday night we went with our friends the Travellers to find our Christmas trees. We have done this now for the past 3 years and it is always lots of fun. We took the 4-wheelers and bundled up-then started out on our journey to find the trees..I made it about 15 minutes before I called it good and decided to hang with the girls in the trailer to stay warm. The boys did a great job finding the trees. We then had treats and hot chocolate and headed back for dinner. I can't say our tree is beautiful but it is big..maybe to big..but it will definatly work. Thanks Tony and Jodi for the fun night....
